Julie trained at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, in Epsom, Surrey alongside Victoria Beckham!
Julie has performed in several West End shows including Jan in Grease (UK tour), Urleen in Footloose (UK tour), Lorraine in Boogie Nights (West End and UK tour), Dinah in Starlight Express (West End and Bochum, Germany) Frenchy in Grease (Dusseldorf) Happy Days (directed by Henry Winkler "The Fonz" ) The Stripper in The Graduate with Jerry Hall (West End and UK Tour)
Julie’s film and TV credits include Victoria and Albert with Dame Diana Rigg and Penelope Wilton, Down To Earth, Blue Peter, many German TV shows,
Backing dancer for Take That at The Brits, Featured dancer on X Factor, and lots of corporate events.

Drusilla Duffill Theatre School, Sussex
Jayne was in the original London Cast of Annie at the Victoria Palace Theatre at 12 years old playing the part of Kate alongside Shelia Hancock as Miss Hannigan. After this she went on to perform in many pantomimes and professional shows.
TEACHING AND ADJUCICATING
Miss Jayne is an ISTD Fellow, a National Examiner and on the National faculty at the ISTD Committee. She is also an adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Music and Dance Festivals.
Jayne is the owner of her own very well established and thriving dance school, Pirouette Academy of Dance in Leicestershire. She has celebrated over 30 years of success as Principal there with many successful students now performing all over the world and in London's West End.
Miss Jayne collects mugs from all the shows she has seen.
A Man Of No Importance, Fiddler On The Roof, The Sound Of Music, Oliver, Heloise. She also sang in the school proms at The Royal Albert Hall (a moment her Dad is extremely proud of!) Kelly has produced excellent LAMDA results, for the school, alongside directing all of our full scale Musical Theatre productions. She also prepares our students for auditions perfecting acting through song and drama pieces.
Kelly is also the main agent for McKenna Management children's acting agency.
Miss Kelly loves watching obscure Musical Theatre shows that not many people have heard of!

Steve has worked predominantly in Pop Music, most notably as Musical Director and Keyboard player for Lisa Stansfield and other artists such as Gareth Gates, Shania Twain, and The Musical Director for West End Star, Kerry Ellis.

He performed at the Olympic Park, performing in front of 37,000 people at the Women’s FA Cup Final, performing in front of over 100,000 people at Dubai’s Global Village on a 6 month contract and appearing on adverts and professionals dance videos. He has also taught all over the country and worked with both kids and adults on stage pieces.
Matthias once held the record for being the fastest person in Northamptonshire to run the 100m sprint! (age 12-13)
EVEY MAE DONNELLY
Top Hat Theatre School, Arts 1 MK, and Pirouette Academy of Dance for Dance teacher training.
Evey has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, where she performed in "Pitch Battle" for BBC1, and has performed at Move It at Excel in 2016 and 2017.
Evey also successfully auditioned for Bird, Millenium and AMTA, receiving scholarship offers.... but decided upon staying here in Northampton where she is now studying for her DDE qualifications, in order to further her career in teaching ISTD dance.
Miss Evey has worked at our local supermarket all through the pandemic We are super proud of her.
Poppy trained at Pirouette Academy of Dance and Laine Theatre Arts
Upon leaving Laine, Poppy was invited to be part of the Stephen Mear pre- show workshop for Funny Girl, before performing in the 2019 Thursford Christmas Spectacular. She is currently active in the industry and we are very lucky to have her join us.
As a younger student, Poppy was a successful member of the competition group, flourishing at festivals and gaining respect and recognition from both peers and adjudicators for her dedication and performance.
Miss Poppy is a real life Show girl!
Emily began dancing at the age of 6, training in various disciplines and gaining her first teaching qualification aged 18.
She has performed in many productions in and around London including at the Sadler's Wells Peacock Theatre.
Emily also danced professionally in various contracts performing all over the UK.
In addition to performing and teaching, Emily has choreographed for many productions as well as choreographing numerous winning routines for local and national festivals.
Miss Emily is a wonderful baker. She loves baking cakes.
She also has a huge collection of Clown wigs, and white gloves!!!
BILLIE - KAY PAYNE
Italia Conti of Academy Theatre Arts
Billie is one of our visiting guest teachers. She currently works as a professional dancer and joins us direct from the West End production of 42nd Street. Other credits include Funny Girl (Paris) Beauty and the Beast Disney film, The Brit Awards and many national tours with artists such as Celo Green, Pixie Lott and Tulisa.
Miss Billie has a wonderful Hips Heels and strut class empowering adults adults through lockdown. It has been a huge success. Give her a follow
Top Hat Twirling Faculty
Tracey has been twirling from the age of seven, and has been part of Top Hat Theatre School from the beginning.
She has been a professional teacher from the mid 1980's and is also a National Judge and Clinician for the BBTSA, and has competed in many competitions through her active competitive career, and became National Champion in various sections.
In 1977, as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, Tracey was part of the march past Buckingham Palace, as a twirler with Wellingborough Royals, and got a wave from The Queen!
Sharon started majorettes from the age of 11 and was later induced to Baton Twirling.
Sharon is a level one professional coach; she prides herself on supporting athletes in the skills and athleticism of Twirling which she enjoys and loves.
Sharon was awarded the Silver Cross medal for gallantry after rescuing her brother for a house fire on her 11th Birthday.
Elisha has been twirling from the age of 12. She was once part of the National Squad.
During her twirling career she has become National and British Open champion several times gaining 2 British Open Sashes in 2015 for Freestyle & Pairs.
As a photographer Elisha has managed to travel and work along side several top athletes such as World champion Baton Twirlers as well as British Olympic gymnastics and swimming Team.
